Actress Biola Fowosere Opens Up on Seven Robbery Attacks In Two Years
Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Biola Fowosere, has opened up about the difficult experiences she faced while building her businesses, revealing that her shops were robbed seven times within two years.
Fowosere disclosed this while reflecting on her entrepreneurial journey and the challenges that accompanied her efforts to establish and expand her businesses.
According to the actress, she started her business journey by selling hair and offering hairdressing services.
She initially visited clients in their homes to provide hairdressing services, while some customers also visited her home.
As her business grew, she expanded into the sale of hair extensions, relaxers and men’s clothing materials.
However, her growing business soon became a target for criminals.
Fowosere said she eventually rented a larger shop where she sold cosmetics and other products, but the shop was also attacked by robbers.
Speaking about her experience, she said: “I first started doing business. I was selling hair. At first, I would go to people’s houses to do their hair, while some came to my house. Later, I started selling hair extensions and relaxers. I also sold men’s clothing materials.”
The actress explained that after her first shop was robbed, she relocated to another location in the hope of securing her business and preventing another attack.
Despite the relocation and efforts to improve security, however, she said the attacks persisted.
Fowosere revealed that her businesses were reportedly robbed as many as seven times in the space of two years.
The repeated attacks, she noted, formed part of the challenges she encountered while trying to grow her business alongside her career in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
