Osun Man O’ War: 249 Personnel Graduates From Mobile Course

The Man O’ War, Osun State Command, recently hosted the Mobile Course with the batch code VS 030/031, which took place from September 7th to 16th, 2023.

This significant event was coordinated by the C&LTC Valley School unit and saw the successful participation of 249 individuals from various formations within the state command.

The State Commander expressed sincere appreciation to C&LTC Valley School in Owode Egba, Ogun State, for their pivotal role as the course facilitators and for ensuring that all participants adhered to the C&LTC course guidelines.

Representing the executive of Osun state, His Excellency Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, Hon. Commissioner for Youth Affairs Hon. Moshood Olagunju, commended Man O’ War for their commendable efforts in reducing youth-related crimes through citizenship and leadership training.

This prestigious event was graced by several distinguished dignitaries, including the Director of DSS, the FRSC Sector Commander (represented by Deputy Road Commander Ojo Ajayi), the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly (represented by Chairman House Committee on Youth Affairs Hon. Engr. Jeremiah Abiola Awoyeye), the Commandant of the Peace Corp of Nigeria, Osun State Command (represented by Patriot M. O. Akintajuwa), the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Mrs. Taiwo Oladunjoye, various Man O’ War State Commanders from the southwest regional command, and the coordinator of Valley School, Owode Egba, Ogun State, Mr. Babalola.

State Commander, MC M.A. Taiwo, expressed his gratitude for the successful completion of the course and encouraged all participants to uphold the ethical values of Man O War.

He emphasized the historical significance of this event, marking only the second time in over 25 years that such an event was held in Osun State.

Mr. Babalola, the coordinator of Valley School, Owode Egba, Ogun State, took the opportunity to explain the aims and objectives of the center and expressed heartfelt appreciation to the state command for their unwavering commitment to leadership training for its members.

He urged the representative of the State Governor to sponsor more youths for similar courses in the future.

During this momentous event, the Director of DSS expressed keen interest in collaborating with Man O’ War on security matters.

The representative of the FRSC Sector Commander urged the course participants to actively promote leadership skills and sought the state command’s indulgence to provide emergency contact numbers for assistance.

The State Commandant of the Peace Corp of Nigeria also commended Man O’ War’s outstanding performance among youth organizations.
