Subsidy Removal: Chairman Palliative Committee Assures Nigerians Of Relieve

The Chairman, Palliative Committee on Subsidy Removal and Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris has assured Nigerians that efforts were ongoing to cushion the effects of subsidy removal.
He stated this on the side-line of a meeting held with other members of the committee (four other governors) held in Abuja on Friday 14th July,2023.
Members of the committee included; Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Gov. Charles Soludo of Anambra, Gov. Uba Sani of Kaduna and Gov. Hyacindu Alia of Benue, members of the organize labour ,and members of the civil society organizations.
The Chairman assured that very soon Nigerians would have a course to smile as the committee was doing its best to bring succour and ease the difficulties being experienced.
Gov. Idris said: “The committee sad and deliberated on possible ways to cushion the effects of subsidy removal and very soon Nigerians will start reapping the benefits of this.
“We are determined to come up with a good and suitable outcome that will benefit Nigerians, therefore, be rest assured that the committee is up to the task.
“All we need is patience, support and cooperation from all Nigerians to enable us achieve the set goals and objectives of establishing the committee by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
