APC Inaugurates 2019 Campaign Committees In Osun

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, on Tuesday, inaugurated nine campaign committees in the nine Federal Constituencies of the state, with the task of working and ensuring victory for the party during the 2019 general elections.

Prince Gboyega Famodun, the Osun APC Chairman, while inaugurating the committees in Osogbo, charged members of the committees to ensure that President Muhammadu Buhari recorded the highest votes in Osun during the elections.

Famodun charged the committees to pursue the goal with total commitment and vigour asking them to see the assignment as a task that must be accomplished for Osun people to continue to enjoy dividend of democracy.

The APC Chairman urged the committees to work vigorously for the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari, all the Senatorial candidates, Federal House of Representatives candidates and state assembly candidates that are contesting on the platform of the party.

Famodun explained that members of the committees were carefully selected across all the federal constituencies in the state after due consultations, saying they should work for the victory of the party at all levels.

“The party, after due consultations, selected the members of the committees and we were well guided on whom to select.

“Among the selected members of committee are local government chairmen, members of House of Assembly, state EXCOS, party leaders and stakeholders. All the selected people are people of high intellectual acumen”

Famodun called on the people of the state to understand that the victory of the party is for the development of the state and not that of APC alone

He charged members of the committee to brace up and come up with ideas that they think would ensure victory of the party in the election.

Speaking, Chairman of the Campaign Committee, Obokun/ Oriade Federal Constituency, Chief J.M.K Ogunkeyede pledged to work for the victory of the party.

He solicited the support, advice and prayers of party members to enable them discharge their responsibilities effectively.
