Just In: Another Lagos Market Gutted By Fire
It was an atmosphere of wails and cries as Olowu Spare auto spare parts went on flames Thursday morning.
The raging inferno which destroyed goods worth millions of Naira was the third market fire in the State in the past 3 weeks.
Distraught traders were seen counting losses as some of them woke up to the ruins of lifelong savings and investments.

The fire outbreak, the cause of which remains unknown as of the time of filing this report, affected automobiles, air conditioner spare parts, and brand-new motorbikes.
Joint efforts of responders from Lagos State Fire Service and the Fire and Emergency Rescue Services however brought the inferno under control.

Recall that an early-hour fire three weeks ago gutted another vehicle parts market, the Akere Spare Parts Market on Kirikiri Road, Olodi-Apapa in Ajegunle. A likewise-timed inferno also started at about 1 am at the popular Balagon textile market, Lagos Island on Tuesday. Destroying goods and properties worth millions of Naira.
