Sen Adeola Canvasses Votes For Ogun APC Candidates, Promises Constituents Quality Representation
The Ogun West senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Solomon Adeola, on Thursday, assured the electorate in the district that he would not take them for granted, if he is elected as senator on Saturday.
The senator gave the assurance while addressing supporters at the mega rally and grand finale of his senatorial campaign, held at Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government Area.
Adeola equally urged the electorate to vote the candidates of the ruling party in the forthcoming presidential and national assembly elections.
He pointed out that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration had performed creditably well in office, urging the people to vote for continuity of good governance on Saturday.
He noted that apart from keeping Nigeria’s unity intact, the president, through his government’s various policies, had lifted many Nigerians out of poverty, hence, the need for the people to ensure the APC and all its candidates were voted at the polls.
He said that his campaign tour had enabled him to witness the infrastructural gaps and socioeconomic deficit in Ogun West.
He assured the people that he would work and concentrate on programmes capable of turning around the fortune of the Ogun West people, if he is elected senator.
Adeola further promised that he would not be a senator who would abandon his senatorial district and the people, reiterating that he would recreate quality representation in Ogun West as he did in the Lagos West senatorial district.
The senator, Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance, however, congratulated Gov. Dapo Abiodun, on the landing of four aeroplanes at the Gateway Agro-Cargo airport, Iperu, saying the feat had further placed Ogun on the world economic map.
He added that the governor had recorded landmark achievements less than four years in office, imploring the people of Ogun to vote massively for the APC on February 25 and March 11 elections.
