Otunba Fayokemi Akinrefon Launches Foundation In Honor Of Her Late Boss
—Doles Out Cash To Widows, Youths, Less Privileged
In honor of her late boss for the purpose of keeping his legacy by immortalizing him,Otunba Mrs Fayokemi Akinrefon has launched a foundation in his honor.
Samson Tewogbade Adetoye who died on the 27th of June 2021 was the founder and first president of Ogo -Oluwabunmi cooperative Odongunyan Ikorodu Lagos State,a philanthropist and genuine humanitarian .
Some of the achievements of service to humanity done by late Comrade Samson Tewogbade Adetoye before his untimely death includes
Drilling of borehole at Nigerian Army 174 battalion barrack Odongunyan Ikorodu.
Putting in order of the above mentioned barrack football pitch.
Support to some football clubs as little side of social responsibility.
Staged fashion show to support male and female fashionista.
Staged talent hunt show to support young talented youths.
Visits and supports to some orphanage homes like Mother Teresa at Demurin ketu,Hikanos foundation, Motherless home at Ogijo to mention few.
Little amount of money given to widows to support their families and businesses.
Otunba Fayokemi Akinrefon an indigene of the source Ile-Ife has deemed it fit to keep the memory of her good boss by following his footsteps hence the creation of the foundation named after her boss Adetoye/Fayokemi & Group Foundation, the foundation was launched a year ago and has helped so many people including widows,youths and vulnerable people of the society including a mother who has just delivered a new baby but couldn’t foot her hospital bills.
While speaking with our correspondents ,Otunba Fayokemi emphasized on the need why Nigerians have to be compassionate on the less privileged ones and encourage everyone to work for the service of humanity while calling on the good people of Nigeria to support the foundation in whatever capacity they deem fit.
The Foundation is set to dole out cash and food to the less privileged this festive season.
