Osun NUJ Holds Free Medical Checkup, Public Lecture Tomorrow

Nigeria union of journalists,Osun State Council will on tomorrow holds a health talk as part of activities to mark its 2022 NUJ Press Week.

The chief Medical director of Osogbo Central Mosque, Doctor Akindele Ajayi will be addressing on the need to give priority to their health while free medical checkup follows immediately.

The health talk will hold at NUJ press centre by nine o’clock in the morning

The Union will also hold tomorrow a Public Lecture.

A Statement by the Chairman of the Public Lecture Committee, Comrade Oluwamayowa Fagbohungbe indicated that the lecture with the theme LEGISLATIVE OVERSIGHT FUNCTIONS AND THE ENTRENCHMENT OF DEMOCRACY IN NIGERIA will be delivered by the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on National Assembly Matters, Senator Babajide Omoworare CON while the Chief Whip of the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Tunde Lekan Olatunji and another member of the State Parliament, Hon. Benjamen Ogundipe will be the Discussants at the event.

Akeji of Ikeji-Ile Oba Azeez Olatunbosun Bamiji will be the Royal Father of the Day.

Journalists as well as members of the public are cordially invited to the event which commences at 10’O Clock in the morning at NUJ Press centre Iwo/Ibadan Road,Osogbo.
