World Teacher’s Day: Osun Govt. Felicitates Teachers, Lauds Their Ingenuity And Tenacity

As teachers in Osun state join their colleagues all over the world to mark this year’s World Teacher’s Day, Commissioner for Education, Hon Folorunsho Oladoyin has urged them to reflect on ways to improve their job efficiency for the good of their students and the state at large .

In the same vein,the Commissioner promised that the administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola will continue to do what it takes to improve the welfare of teachers for the overall good of the state’s education sector.

Hon. Bamisayemi stated this through a statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Wednesday to congratulate Osun teachers on the occasion of the World Teacher’s Day which has as it’s theme “The Transformation Of Education Begins With Teachers”

While expressing gratitude to the teachers for their commitment and cooperation with the present administration in the ever increasing resolve to reposition the state’s education sector for better results, the former lawmaker said Adegboyega Oyetola administration will never joke with their welfare.

He said this year’s theme “The Transformation Of Education Begins With Teachers” is very apt because the present government recognises teachers as major partners and stakeholders in the quest to revamp the state’s education sector and give Osun School children quality and qualitative education to guarantee a better future for the state.

The statement reads in part, “On behalf of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, I congratulate Osun teachers on the occasion of the World Teachers Day celebration. Our teachers are very important and key in our resolve to reposition our education sector for better results.

“We can not do anything without you, your cooperation and support since the inception of the present administration especially in the education sector has been of immense benefit and assistance to us.

“Our teachers in Osun have shown an uncommon zeal and passion towards helping the state government to build a good future for our state through the younger ones we are nurturing to become better individuals that we can reply on.
