OSCOTECH Alumni President, Olaniyan Felicitates Muslims, Calls For Love, Peace Among Members

The National President of National Alumni Association of Osun State College of Technology Esa-Oke, known as OSCOTECH Alumni, ESV Prince Adenle Olaniyan, has congratulated Muslims on the completion of Ramadan fast which ultimately heralds the Eid-el-fitri.

In a statement on Sunday ahead of the conclusion of 30 days of Ramadan fast 1443 A.H., Olaniyan described the days and nights of the month as ones like no other during which the (Muslim) faithful proudly competed to outdo one another in good deeds.

He commended Muslim Ummah for maintaining a harmonious relationship with other religions, noting, “There can’t be peace without harmony, especially among religious bodies.”

Olaniyan noted that every challenge, including death, can be overcome through abiding faith in God and dogged determination.

He admonished the faithful to continue in the spirit of Ramadan even now that fasting is over.

He wished Muslim faithful blessings and guidance of Allah, urging Nigerians to embrace peace, love, tolerance, and sacrifice, which according to him, are the exemplary virtues of the Holy Prophet Mohammed.

He, therefore, prayed for a peaceful and pleasant celebration, stressing that the significance of the Islamic event towards the enhancement of peace, security, unity, and progress of the nation was enduring.

The OSCOTECH Alumni President however charged the members of the Association to always have the interest of their Alma mater in mind so as to move the school to the greater heights.

“I want to urge my people on the need for each and everyone of us to have the interest of our Alma mater in mind . As a matter of fact we should always work towards the upliftment of our school.

However, we should always maintain peaceful harmonious relationship among ourselves because where is peace there is always a progress. He said .
