Osun People Are Fools {Osun Go} By Peter Awofadeju

The presence of Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke the People Democratic Party Flagbearer for Osun State has changed political atmosphere and APC ways of normal ways of reasoning. Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, the man of principle and purpose, who from the initial stage purposed to make lives better for the people of his State represented his constituency at the Red Chamber after the demise of his brother, late Senator Isiaka Adeleke.

The zeal made him to contest for Osun State governor in 2018. All things worked in his favour before the agent of evil rigged him out. However, the same group who rigged him out confessed to the evil act in year 2022.

The coming again of Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke has set fear in all APC caucus in Osun State, including the governor who ran to the street to be paying political visits to locals. The visit which was not done since 2018 he emerged through their inconclusive/rigged election. Mr. governor repaired roads in different towns within weeks to primary election and months to the state governorship election.

Magic that has never been performed by APC in the state since 2010, One of the APC members in Osun State claimed that Osun State’s allocation for the month of February was N300 million, but governor was able to pay N900 million to the pensioners. Osun State government which was recently attacked by Mr. Wale Bolorunduro, the immediate past commissioner for finance in Osun State on the increase in the debt of the State compared to what his principal (Aregbesola) left for governor Oyetola’s administration. Where did Osun APC now get the money N900 Millions spent on pensioners as claimed and on other project carried out at election eve?
APC and governor Gboyega Oyetola should state their achievements within the space of three years plus. Civil servants not promoted as at when due, those promoted during Aregbesola’s administration are not paid according to their present position. No Open appointments but underground appointments by APC caucus. In terms of education and health, governor Oyetola administration should tell the masses what they have done apart from O’HIS. Osun people are tired of APC government which has put them to a tight corner and turned larger part of Osun people to corporate beggars.
All the higher institutions in Osun State are not better than Secondary Schools in advanced state or country. There are very few full-time lecturers in the tertiary institution in Osun State, the institutions employed heavily part-time lecturers to be teaching the students. How can part-time lecturers given N 30, 000/N50, 000 per month in this difficult time teach effectively?
All health centers lack permanent nurses and doctors, as claimed by majority in power, that government cannot provide jobs for everybody. Is it to the point of having

maximum of two or three full time lecturers in a whole department in tertiary institution and two nurses in the whole health centre? What is the essence of O’HIS APC is broadcasting about then?
Talking about expectations of people of Osun State, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke and his family have been tested and found to be perfect in every area. Senator Isiaka Adeleke was a very good PDP governor in his time in Osun State, he equally represented his Constituency at Red Chamber and represented them well. He was not selfish as people used to praise him even after his death.
His brother Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke replaced him and he followed his foot step. He was at senate after his late brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke and performed brilliantly beyond expectations. His elder brother, Deji Adeleke has been a man of the people beyond even Osun State. He has establishments within and outside of Osun State, people of Osun State regularly benefit from the family. In many areas, the family of Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke cannot be relegated in Osun politics. Former governor of Osun State, both governor Isiaka Oyetola and his predecessor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola have no investment in Osun State but Aregbesola established a hotel in Lagos, named it ‘’Osun go’’ means Osun people are fools.

People of Osun need to reason well and know that whatever they are getting from APC government now is because of a strong opposition which they will pay back if APC            should eventually win the coming election.

Osun people need to make APC government realise that they are not fools. Vote for Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke to end suffering in the state, vote PDP for job opportunities.
