Osun Declares Tomorrow As Open Day For Public Schools, Advises Parents To Visit Thier Children
The Osun State Universal Basic Education Board SUBEB has fixed tomorrow Thursday 29th April, 2021 as this term’s Open day for public Primary and Junior schools across the state to enable parents and guardians to visit their children in their various schools.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Executive Secretary SUBEB, Mr Adeoye Bakare.
According to the statement, parents and guardians are advised to ensure that they use the opportunity to visit their wards in their various schools to ascertain the level of academic performance of their children.
The statement therefore enjoined teachers and heads of schools to show the necessary assistance and cooperation to the parents while Parents and Community leaders are also expected to use the day to assess the schools learning environment at the various schools.
The open day is a day set aside by the Board to afford parents and guardians the opportunity of visiting their children in school and check directly on their academic performance so as to improve on their learning and character.
