Court remands Man, 22, Over Robbery

An Osun state Magistrate court sitting in Osogbo, on Monday remanded a 22-year-old man, Tunde Agbaje over alleged armed Robbery.
Police prosecutor, Inspector Temitope Fatoba told the court that the defendant committed the crime on August 13,2020 at about 9:10pm at Bovas Filling station, Agunbelewo, Osogbo
The prosecutor alleged that the defendant and one other now at large conspired among themselves to commit felony to wit armed robbery
He alleged that the defendant did arm himself with gun and other dangerous weapons robbed one Ademola Omitogun the manager of Bovas Filling station of one million,two hundred thousand naira #1,200,000
The offence according to Inspector Fatoba was contrary to and punishable under Section 6(b) and 1(1) (2)(a)(b) of the Robbery Firearms (special provision) Act Cap Rll Vol.14 Laws of Federation of Nigeria 2004
The plea of the accused person who had no legal Representative was not taking by the court
Magistrate Isola Omisade ordered that the defendant be remanded in Ilesa correctional center and adjourned the case till November 16, 2020 for mention
