AGF Congratulates Ekiti Governor Elect, Fayemi

A sociological organisation, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF), Osun state chapter has congratulated the Ekiti state Governor elect, Dr. Kayode Fayemi on his victory at the yesterday’s polls.

The is contained in a congratulatory message signed by it Coordinator, Comrade Sikiru Tijani and Secretary, Comrade Yahaya Adeniji,which was made available to newsmen on Sunday in Osogbo.

The group commended the people of Ekiti for their determination to ensure that the state returns back and join the states of the Progressives, particularly in the South West.

AGF noted that Fayemi emerged victorious in the Saturday’s poll because of his good track records and the unprecedented achievements in the state when he was the Governor.

The group however commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the various security agencies for providing adequate security for the exercise.

Urging the newly elected governor to justify the confidence reposed in him by the people of the state by fulfilling his electioneering premises, AGF charged people of state to rally round the Governor-elect, with a view to ensuring an all-round development of the state.
