June 12: APC Stalwart, Ogunkeyede Blasts OBJ, Hails Buhari’s Declaration

A stalwart of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Osun, Otunba Olajumoke Ogunkeyede, has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for declaring June 12 as Nigeria’s Democracy Day, describing it as a day of emancipation for those who worked hard for it.

He noted that  Buhari did what was expected of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo while in power rather, he alleged the ex president of frustrating efforts towards the declaration of June 12 as democracy day because he saw Abiola as an enemy.

Ogunkeyede stated this in an interview with CityMirrorNews in Osogbo, Osun State capital.

He said: “Since democracy day I hope people would wake up to the reality, although Buhari need to make some correction.  I don’t like how Buhari make appointment lopsided to favour segment of the nation but he has done better than Obasanjo  would never in his dream do one third of what Buhari has been able to do, Obasanjo is an atenma to Yoruba progress.

“I look at OBJ as a heartless, self conceited, brutal, wicked, melodramatic, self deceiving, uncivilized, shameless individual who thinks he is made of Teflon and so nothing sticks.

“He has messed up a lot of things for us and Buhari has now declared democracy day as June 12, something he was trying to make sure we never achieved. I am sure Obasanjo did not sleep after the declaration because he never  wanted this to happen “.

He described Obasanjo as ” a killer of democratic ethnos while pretending to be the champion of Democracy, adding that Buhari has done well for the nation declaring June 12 a day of emancipation for those of us who worked hard for it.

He said:.”I don’t blame Obasanjo. He refused to honour late MKO Abiola because is not a Yoruba man, He is from Onisha and that is why  he had the right to do to us what he  has done to us for a very long time.

“OBJ has a psychological disease tormenting him. He wants to assume most acronyms reserved for God, all important, the Alfa and Omega etc. All his life, he wants to outshine himself.

“He thinks he is the Savior reincarnated. His actions are Antichrist yet, he builds churches and says he does it for God.
