Osun NYSC Boss Charges Corps Members To Be Job Creators
Osun State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps NYSC, Mr. Emmanuel Attah has charged corps members to be job creators and create wealth.
The NYSC boss gave the admonition yesterday while addressing corps members at the passing out parade ceremony of the 2016 Batch ‘B’ Stream l in Ede, Osun State.
He advised the 2,224 corps members to propagate unity of the nation and dedicated more to all they have learnt during their one year mandatory service year.
The coordinator also urged the corps members to believe in the country saying that the country will be great and they should strive in whatever they do to make it greater.
While emphasizing on the usefulness of the skill acquisition and entrepreneurship development programme that has been put in place by the scheme, Attah said it would empower the corp members and make them self reliant.
According to him: “it is better for corps members to become job creators and generate wealth themselves”.
“And it is supposed to make them self reliant and to serve as an alternative when there is nothing to do because many of them won’t get a white collar job”.
“I urged you to explore and take advantage of these value re-orientation and wealth creation programmes”, he added.
Attah thereafter said that the discharge certificates is been distributed across the country in a low key.
