Suspected Cultists Who Shot Woman Taken To Jail In Osun

A Magistrate Court in Osun State sitting in Osogbo, the State capital has ordered that a 27-year-old man, Adewumi Adeyinka be remanded in Ilesha prison custody for allegedly shooting a woman named Bintu Anifowose with gun.
The suspect was arraigned on Monday before the Chief Magistrate O. A Oloyade on a four-count charge bodering on murder, Felony, conspiracy and belonging to unlawful society named Black Axe secret cult.
The prosecutor, Inspector Fagboyinbo Abiodun told the court that the accused person and others who are currently at large conspired to commit felony to wit murder on the 5th of August at Old Garage in Osogbo.
Fagboyinbo said the suspects unlawfully killed one Bintu Anifowose by shooting her with a gun which caused her death.
Prosecutor further explained that the suspects also belonged to unlawful society named Black Axe secret cult.
Fagboyinbo explained that the offense contravenes Section 324, 316 punishable under Section 319(1) 516 and 64(a)(b) of the criminal Xode Cap 34 Volume 11.Laws of Osun State 2002.
The plea of the suspects who were represented by Barrister Adenike Adeleke could not be taken due to the magnitude of their offence.
The Chief Magistrate Mrs O. A Oloyade ordered that the suspects be remanded in Ilesa prison custody.
She thereafter adjourned till December 6,2017 for mention.
