Court Remands Three ‘Aye’ Cultists Over Alleged Murder In Osun

An osun state magistrate court sitting in osogbo on Wednesday ordered the remand of three suspected cultist members for allegedly murdering three person.
The three cultists namely Adebayo Shaheed AKA Poison 28, Rasaki Jamiu AKA Bullet, 23, and Mutiu Rasaq AKA small, 31 were arraigned on Wednesday on three different charge sheet bothering on felony, murder and conspiracy.
The prosecutor, Mireti Wilson said the three accused committed the offense on Aug. 15 , 2016 at three different places in osogbo.
According to prosecutor the three accused on three different charge sheet conspired to commit felony to wit : murder thereby killing three person on the same day at different places known as Oke_Onitea, Technical Football Pitch, and Ayetoro area in osogbo.
”The Accused did killed one Akinwale Shina, Adekunle Badmus and Aderemi Adepoju by Inflicting Machete and Axe cut on their heads which caused their death.
“The accused persons did belong to an unlawful society called Aye.
The offence according to the Prosecutor was to contrary and punishable under Section 319 (1), 64 (a) (b), 324 and 320 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol. 11 Laws of Osun State 2002.
The plea of the accused persons were not taken.
The magistrate, Mrs Habibat Basiru in her ruling ordered that the three accused be remanded in ilesha prison custody.
She adjourned the case till Nov. 3 for mention.
