The PBAT/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council has created a new Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management and adjusted the leadership of its Youth Mobilisation and Women Mobilisation directorates ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The changes were announced in a statement signed by the Secretary of the council, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, following the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Council.

According to the statement, the adjustments are aimed at strengthening the council’s organisational structure, improving coordination and enhancing operational efficiency as preparations for the 2027 election gather momentum.

Under the new arrangement, Dr Farouk Adamu Aliyu has been appointed Director of the newly created Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management, while former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello, will serve as Co-Director.

For the Directorate of Youth Mobilisation, Ayo Olawande has been named Director, with Dr Dayo Israel appointed as Deputy Director.

Similarly, Dr Mary Aille Idele will head the Directorate of Women Mobilisation as Director, while Dr Betta Edu has been appointed Deputy Director. Hon. Imaan Suleman will serve as Secretary of the directorate.

The council said the adjustments reflected its commitment to building a coordinated, inclusive and results-driven campaign structure capable of mobilising Nigerians, particularly young people and women, in support of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.

It added that the appointees were expected to deploy their experience, commitment and organisational abilities to deliver on their respective assignments as campaign preparations intensified.

The statement further urged the appointees to work closely with other directorates and relevant campaign structures to achieve the council’s objectives and ensure effective implementation of its mobilisation and campaign strategies.

The council said the restructuring was part of efforts to strengthen its operational framework ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
