Ifelodun Muslim Community Congratulates Adeleke, Appeals for Completion of Central Mosque
The Ifelodun Muslim Community, Agunbelewo, Osogbo, has congratulated the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke, on his re-election for a second term.
In a press statement made available to journalists by the Public Relations Officer of the Community, Mr Hameed Abegunde, the Chairman of the Ifelodun Muslim Community, Malam Sulaimon Kolawole Adeyanju, and the Secretary, Mr Adebayo Abdulrahmon described the Governor’s victory as the will of Allah.
The Chairman, Osun Islamic Engagement, Sheikh Abdullah Olohunlomerue represented Governor Adeleke at the fund raising for the Ifelodun Community Central Mosque in Osogbo.
Sheikh Abdullah Olohunlomerue, on behalf of the Governor pledged that Governor Adeleke would complete and commission the mosque in due course.
The Muslim Community expressed appreciation to Governor Adeleke’s sister, Yeye Dupe Adeleke Sanni, and the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, for their donation to the Ifelodun Community Central Mosque.
The Muslim Community said Governor Adeleke won in all the polling units within Ifelodun Community during the August 15 governorship election.
The Muslim Community therefore appealed to the Governor to fulfil his earlier promise to assist in the completion of the Central Mosque.
The Muslim Community added that the completion of the mosque would provide a befitting place of worship for Muslims in the Community and surrounding communities.
The Muslim Community said the completion of the mosque will be a lasting legacy and a source of joy to the Muslim faithfuls in the Community.
The community also pledged its continued support and cooperation with the Adeleke’s Administration, while praying for wisdom, good health and a successful second term in office for the Governor.
