Baptist Youths Gather in Osun for Annual Session

Youths of the Nigerian Baptist Convention will converge at Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State from Tuesday, August 4 to Saturday, August 8, 2026 for the 52nd Annual Session of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, NBCYC.

The 4-day national gathering is expected to draw young Baptists from across Nigeria for a time of spiritual renewal, leadership development, and fellowship.

This year’s theme, BEYOND LIMITS, is drawn from Mark 10:27 — “With God all things are possible.”

According to the President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, Amb. Amos Barnabas Kadanga, ” Limitations are inherent in mortality. However, as children of God, we have an advantage. Our advantage is the ability to go beyond limits. What limits others cannot limit us. Every blockade is only but a challenge to be surmounted for the next stage. I implore us to take advantage of having the Almighty God on our side. We should not magnify our challenges. We should rise to the challenge and conquer.”

The conference will feature: Word Ministration, Song Ministration, Prayers, Seminars, Sports and Games, Bible Quiz, Cultural Night. Delegates are advised to come with befitting wears for all these.

The session will host top leaders of the Convention and revered ministers including: Rev. Dr. Olusola Idowu, President, Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev. Dr. Olawuyi James – Director, Youths and Students Ministries Department, Rev. Mike Babatunde – Renowned Marriage and Family Life Expert, Rev. Dr. Godspower Okitikpi – National Coordinator, Youth Ministries Division, Rev Dr Bamidele Ifedapo, Rev Dr Emmanuel Arotile and other notable ministers and resource persons.

Registration was ₦5,000 while late registration is now on for ₦6,000 only. The fee covers access to all programme venues, resource materials, and accommodation for the duration of the conference.

Youths, church leaders, and stakeholders across the Nigerian Baptist Convention are encouraged to register early and mobilize delegations to participate in what promises to be a life-transforming encounter.
