Accord Party Stakeholders, Members In Modakeke Rally Behind Samuel Oyedotun’s Senatorial bid
Members of the Accord Party in Ife East Area Office, Modakeke, have declared their support for Mr Samuel Oyedotun, an aspirant seeking to represent Osun East Senatorial District in the 2027 general elections under the party.
The Accord Party members made this known while speaking with journalists in Modakeke at the weekend. They noted that Oyedotun’s track record and grassroots mobilisation, made him the right candidate to represent the district.
Speaking , the apex leader of the Accord Party in the area, Oladosu Oyebisi, said the party’s grassroots structure in Modakeke was solidly behind Oyedotun, calling on Governor Ademola Adeleke and the leadership of the party to give the United States-trained mortgage stockbroker the ticket.
“Modakeke has been sidelined for too long in the political equation of Osun East. Samuel Oyedotun is a committed member of the Accord Party and he has shown that he is more than capable,” Oyebisi said.
He noted that the Accord Party in Ife East Area Office is ready to mobilise massively for the re-election of Governor Adeleke and the 2027 general elections.
“We are not just endorsing him in words. We will work, mobilise, and defend this project at the grassroots level,” he added.
Speaking in the same vein, Mr Banjo Oloke, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, said Oyedotun’s aspiration aligned with the call for fairness and rotation within the district.
“The principle of equity demands that Ife zone produces the next senator. Oyedotun is competent, accessible, and has contributed meaningfully across Ife and Ijesa. Supporting him is supporting justice,” Oloke stated.
Oloke urged other political actors in the zone to put aside personal interests and support a candidate with proven integrity.
“This is not about Accord alone. It is about the future of Osun East. We need a senator who will prioritise development and carry everyone along,” he said.
