By Olabode Abolaji
Students of Osun State Polytechnic Iree especially N.D.II set of 2015/2016 Academic Session have lamented the delay in the release of their first and second semester results.
According to them, the release of the results is long overdue owing to the fact that all exams were concluded six months ago.
They called on the management of the institution under the leadership of Dr Jacob Agboola to prevail on lecturers to ensure the speedy dispatch of the process.
This reporter observed the lamentations in various Facebook posts on Saturday.
One of them, Femi Popoola who studied Mass Communication said the development has become a habit of lecturers especially those of the department.
He wrote “Quality is better than Quantity. Its over six months now that we have been expecting our results. Till now nothing has been done.”
Another student who spoke under anonymity said the development has hampered the academic pursuit of many of them.
According to the student, some of them have been unable to obtain either direct entry forms to universities or Higher National Diploma forms of respective polytechnics.
They however called on the management of the institution to prevail on those concerned So as to find a lasting solution to the problem.
As at the time of filing in this report, attempts are on to get the reaction of the Media Relations officer of the institution, Tope Abiola on the matter.
