LG Poll: Ondo Speaker Casts Vote, Stresses Grassroots Dev’t
The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Chief Olamide Oladiji, has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the local government election by the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC).
The Speaker made this statement while addressing journalists shortly after casting his vote at Polling Unit 5, Ward 9, Sasere, in Ondo East Local Government area.
He also commended the people of the state for maintaining peace and turning out in large numbers to exercise their franchise.
Emphasising the importance of local government elections, Oladiji expressed gratitude to Governor (Dr) Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for his various initiatives aimed at fostering smooth and effective grassroots development in the Sunshine State.
