Jubilation As Adeleke Inaugurates Four Micro Projects In Osun Community
There was wild jubilation in Ailaka Community, Ede North Local Government Area of Osun State as Governor Ademola Adeleke inaugurated a well-furnished maternity centre in the area.
CityMirrorNews reports that the maternity project was sited at Ailaka Community and three other communities including Agesinjawefa (motorized boreholes), Inugedu and Ifesowapo maternity, Alekuwodo junction, Wakajaye area, Ede South.
The projects were initiated by people of the communities and funded by the Osun State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) under “Osun Cares.”.
During the official commissioning of the projects, the residents who could not hold their joy expressed gratitude to the governor for counting them worthy.
They, however, declared their support for the governor just as they endorsed him for a second term in office.
Speaking, Alhaji Tajudeen Adisa, Chairman of Primary Healthcare said people of the area have been clamouring for Health centres in the past, saying they did not have access to good health care before Governor Adeleke came to their rescue.
Another resident, Lawal Adebayo popularly called Dan Alhaja said with the ongoing developmental projects across Osun there was no excuse for anyone not to support the governor to rule the state beyond 2026.
Applauding the residents of the communities for the spirit of appreciation, the Commissioner for Community and Rural Development, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa said within the space of two years Governor Ademola Adeleke’s achievements surpassed twelve years of APC administrations.
According to Olaoluwa, Governor Adeleke’s developmental projects cut across every local Government, saying there is no community that is not feeling the developmental projects under Adeleke’s administration.
He urged the people of the communities to continue to support the governor so as to be able to rule the state beyond year 2026.
The General Manager of Osun-CSDA Funmi Abokede, said the prompt release of funds by Governor Adeleke made it possible to complete the projects.
Abokede who congratulated the people of the area for the successful implementation of the projects charged them to maintain the projects so as to stand the test of time.
Meanwhile, the Special Adviser to the governor on CSDA, Hon Nurudeen Emiloju, expressed gratitude to the governor for his commitment to development in rural communities.
He urged the people of the communities to continue to support the governor in his bid to transform the state, just as he charged them for adequate maintenance of the projects.
“I want to urge you to maintain the projects because that is the essence of the five per cent counterpart fund you contributed”, he said.
Echoing a similar views, former caretaker chairman of Ede South Local Government Area, Hon. Lukman Afolabi expressed deep appreciation to Governor Ademola Adeleke and Osun CSDA for the successful implementation of the projects.
Afolabi who could not hide his joy over the projects also commended the leadership of the Wakajaye community for their support and commitment toward the completion of the project.
He said the dream of the area to have a well-equiped maternity centre came to fruition due to their support and determination.
“When I was the caretaker Chairman, they came to me on how to complete the project, and I told them that with the support of the governor and their corporation they should considered it done.
“I met with the CSDA officials in Osogbo and make sure we do all necessary things we were asked to do to get the project done.
“Today, I am very happy to be here for the official commissioning of the project. I want to I urge my people to ensure adequate maintenance of this project in order to stand the test of time. I can assure them that more are still coming, what we need from them is their support. Our Governor is committed to People’s welfare”
