Kwara Gov, PDP Mourn Saraki Mom’s Passing
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has condoled with former Senate President Bukola Saraki, Gbemisola Saraki, Olaolu Saraki, and the rest of the family over the passing of their mother Chief Florence Morenike Saraki.
He urged them to be consoled by the legacy of the deceased.
Similarly, Kwara State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also expressed sadness over the development.
In a statement by Chairman Babatunde Mohammed, the party described the deceased as a strong pillar of support, not only for Dr. Saraki and her other children but also for those outside her immediate family.
He said: “Kwara State PDP expresses deep sorrow over the loss of Chief Mrs. Saraki, a remarkable matriarch whose life was marked by profound impact and unwavering dedication to her family and Kwara State.
“She was a mother in the truest sense, providing steadfast support to her children and standing as a formidable pillar within the Saraki dynasty.”
Former Kwara State House Assembly Speaker Prof. Ali Ahmad also expressed sadness over Mrs Saraki’s death, describing her passing as sad and shocking.
