NGOs To Organise Children Outreach In Celebration Of Ooni Ogunwusi’s Birthday

No fewer than three Non Governmental Organizations (NGO) in Nigeria have expressed their readiness to organise children outreach in celebration of the Africa foremost traditional ruler, Ooni of Ife , Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi birthday .

The NGOs are; Caldev Children of Africa Leadership and Values development Initiative, Prince Ishola Foundation and The Gem Foundation.

The outreach is billed to take place in selected communities across the State of Osun on October 17th, 2021 in celebration of the Ooni’s birthday.

Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has been the grand patron of One of the NGO, the Children of Africa Leadership And Value Development Initiative since October 15th , 2017. The organisation have for the past four years organised annual children outreach programs to mark Ooni Ogunwusi’s birthday.

Founder of Gem Foundation, Hon Dayo Fasola, a daughter of the Source and long term partner with the directorate of Media and Publicity Bureau Enuwa Palace, Ile Ife disclosed in an interview with Press men how His Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi’s impact and passion in the development of Osun , her people and by extension the Yoruba land in general can not be overstated.

She disclosed that her NGO and partners wishes to “in our own way reciprocate His Majesty sacrifices and kind gesture by celebrating his big day with the generation next.”

‘There would be interactive lectures with kids of the selected communities. We would be sharing inspirational stories of outstanding leaders which his Imperial Majesty is one of them, there would be mentorship and career advice for the young adults amongst them and of course we would be distributing textbooks alongside some other educational materials ‘

‘Prince Ishola Abiodun a Son of Ile-Ife, founder of Prince Ishola Foundation and CEO Nigeria-China Investments Organisation has also promised to give scholarships to 5 indigent students up to university level.’ She added.
