Just In: Ooni Storms Ekiti, To Mediate In Fayemi/Ekiti Monarchs Feud

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi is currently holding a meeting with the Ekiti first class Obas (Pelupelus) in a bid to resolve the crisis between Governor Kayode Fayemi and the aggrieved 11 Pelupelu Obas.

The imbroglio according to information was as a result of the appointment of Alawe of Ilawe-Ekiti as Chairman, Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers.

In his capacity as the natural head of the entire Oduduwa race worldwide, Arole Oodua Olofin Adimula and Co-Chairman, National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria(NCTRN) was said to have arrived the Palace of Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, where the meeting is ongoing.

He is expected to meet with the Governor thereafter as all hands are on deck to find solutions to the needless crisis.
