Osun SWAN Honours Prince Dotun Babayemi With Meritorious Gold Award

Prince Dotun Babayemi, the Senatorial Candidate of the Action Democratic Party(ADP) for the upcoming Osun West Senatorial Election will be honoured by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (Osun State Chapter), for his philanthropic support for sports in Osun and Nigeria as a whole.

Prince Babayemi, a sports enthusiast and philanthropist will receive a Meritorious Gold Award of Excellence in Grassroot Football Development on Sunday, the 27th day of January 2019 at the St Anthony Catholic Grammar School, Iwo, venue of the final of the 2018 Edition of the Omooba Dotun Babayemi Osun West Senatorial District Football Championship.

Osun SWAN acknowledged Prince Dotun Babayemi’s philanthropic role in Sports that has brought tremendous relief to hitherto cash-strapped athletes in the State and beyond.

From football to athletics, he has thrown a lifeline to many sports men and women especially in the Osun West Senatorial District and Osun State as a whole.

The Osun SWAN thinks Prince Babayemi is a worthy recipient of this prestigious award and urges him to keep on supporting Sports in the State and beyond.
