SWEGOP Congratulates Oladele, Falade On New Appointments

The South-West Guild of Online Publishers (SWEGOP) has congratulated its Chairman, Mr Bisi Oladele, and Vice Chairman, Mr Dapo Falade, on their recent appointments in Oyo State.

Oladele was recently appointed Director of Media and Publicity for the 2027 governorship campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli.

Falade, on his part, was appointed Senior Special Assistant to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Information and Orientation.

In a congratulatory statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Remi Oladoye, SWEGOP described the appointments as recognition of the professional experience, dedication and contributions of the two journalists to media practice and public communication.

The guild said the new responsibilities entrusted to Oladele and Falade reflected the growing relevance of experienced media practitioners in political communication, public administration and governance.

SWEGOP noted that both journalists had, over the years, demonstrated commitment to professional journalism and credible information dissemination, adding that their new assignments would provide opportunities for them to deploy their experience in service to the public.

The guild congratulated Oladele and Falade, expressing confidence that they would bring professionalism, dedication and their wealth of experience to bear on their respective assignments.

It urged them to remain committed to the principles of responsible communication, accuracy, professionalism and respect for the public interest as they discharge their new responsibilities.

The organisation also wished the two media professionals success in their new roles, while urging them to see the appointments as opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the development of Oyo State and the wider society.

SWEGOP particularly expressed optimism that their experience in journalism and public communication would enhance effective engagement with stakeholders and promote the dissemination of credible information.
