Eid-el-kabir: NPA Boss, Badmus Felicitates Muslims In Osun, Calls For Sacrifice, Unity

The Executive Director, Marine and Operations of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Engr. Olalekan Badmus, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Osun State and Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival.

Engr. Badmus described Eid-el-Kabir as a sacred season that reminds humanity of the virtues of obedience, faith, sacrifice, love and complete submission to the will of Almighty Allah, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.

He urged Muslims to reflect on the spiritual significance of the celebration by embracing the values of selflessness, compassion and service to humanity, stressing that the lessons of Eid should inspire collective efforts towards building a more peaceful, united and prosperous society.

According to him, “Eid-el-Kabir is beyond a celebration; it is a period for sober reflection and a reminder of the rewards of sacrifice, patience and steadfastness. As we commemorate this important occasion, I urge our people to uphold the principles of love, peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding in our communities.”

The NPA Executive Director also called on residents of Osun State to continue promoting unity across religious and ethnic lines, noting that sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace and harmony.

He further encouraged citizens to remain hopeful and continue contributing positively to the growth and progress of the state and the nation at large.

Engr. Badmus prayed that Allah accepts the sacrifices, supplications and acts of worship of the faithful and grants abundant blessings, peace, good health and prosperity to every home.

“On behalf of my family and associates, I heartily congratulate all Muslim faithful in Osun State and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir. May Allah accept our sacrifices and shower His endless mercy upon us all,” he said.
