ICHS 50th Anniversary: Old Students Association Organizes Fund Raising For Administrative Building

As part of activities marking the 50th anniversary of Ilare Community High School, Ilare, Obokun Local Government area of Osun State, the Old Students Association of the school has organized a fund raising for construction of an ultra modern Administrative Building in the school.

A statement co-signed by the President of the association, Professor Olubukola Oyawoye, Secretary, Pastor Augustine Olumoye and Chairperson organizing Committee, Mrs Monisayo Fatunbi, states that an online launching of the project holds on 1st August, 2026.

According to the statement, “the Ultra Modern Administrative Block which is billed to be completed with a sum of Fifty Million Naira will contain the Principal’s Office its Ante-Room, Secretary’s office; Two Vice Principals’ Offices, Two Staff Rooms for Science and Humanities and a Mini Reading Room

” Presently, the School does not have an Administrative Block. It will however be a monumental achievement if we can contribute generously to erect the Golden Jubilee Building for the use of the school.”

The inaugural E-launch event, according to the statement is organized to take place among the members alone to raise money for the 50th year anniversary, will be conducted via the WhatsApp platform of the association, on Saturday 1st August, 2026.
The statement urged members to donate generously towards making the association’s dream a reality.
