SA on Disability Matters, Hon Oladosu Donates Wheelchair, Cash To Children With Disabilities
The Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Disability Matters, Hon. Olanrewaju Oladosu in a bid to make life better for Persons with Disabilities has donated a wheelchair and cash gifts to Children with Disabilities under the Imole Educational Scholarship Support Programme.
Speaking as Guest of Honour at the venue of the donation of the wheelchair and the cash gift of #275,000 to Children With Disabilities as educational support, Chairman, Osun State Special Assistant Forum, Hon. Sunday Adeniran described the gesture as laudable.
He commended the Senator Ademola Adeleke administration for making it clear that Persons With Disabilities will continue to form part of his government.
Hon. Adeniran added that the impact of the Governor in the lives of PWDs in less than two years in office is unprecedented and highly encouraging to help them live a better life.
While thanking Hon. Olanrewaju Oladosu for his thoughtfulness and magnanimity in providing the wheelchair and cash gift, Hon. Adeniran explained that the step will go a long way in making life better for the beneficiaries.
In a goodwill message, Coordinator, Special Assistant Forum, Ede Federal Constituency, Hon. Jelili Aderibigbe thanked Hon. Oladosu for his kind heart and for his determination to put smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries.
He said the step has clearly shown that he is a round peg in a round hole.
In a welcome address at the event, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Disability Matters, Hon Olarewaju Oladosu taking a quote from Brene Brown “What separates privileges from entitlement is GRATITUDE” expressed gratitude to Governor Ademola Adeleke, Chief of Staff Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye and Honourable Bamidele Salam for allowing God to use them in realizing his life political dreams.
He explained that the present administration has worked towards fulfilling its electoral promises to the people of Osun State for PWDs in particular.
He reeled out some of the achievements which include: Imole Educational Scholarship Scheme for Osun Pwds, Imole Skills Acquisition Training/Empowerment Scheme for men and women with Disabilities in the state, Imole Agro-ability for Osun Pwds in where they got 2000 day old chicken, pig, cahew seedling tractor and some Agriculture items among others.
