Rain Of Encomiums As Revered Historian, Prof Siyan Oyeweso Marks 63rd Birthday

It was an atmosphere of joy at the Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding, Abere as loved ones from all works of life gathered to celebrate the most intellectually engaging historians of our time, Professor Siyan Oyeweso, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.
The celebration afforded friends and families the opportunity to share testimonies about the impacts the celebrant had made in their respective lives.
During a spacial programme organised to mark the birthday, dignitaries at the event rejoiced with the celebrant for witnessing his 63rd in good health and abundance.
Speaking, former Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Oluomo Sunday Akere, congratulated foremost historian, as he turns 63 on February 1, 2024.
Rejoicing with the Don, Akere, described Professor Oyeweso as a true son and historian of epic.
He thereafter showered prayers and blessings on the celebrant just as he urged him to continue with moulding of the younger generation.
“You are one of the most intellectually engaging historians of our time.
A man who determined to ensure he get result from his profession. He is a true son of the soil and historian of epic. We celebrate you today and my prayer is that you will celebrate as many years as you desired – happy birthday.
Also speaking , Alhaji Kazeem Ademola Adio, a former Secretary to Osun State Government, congratulated Prof. Oyeweso and wished him a long and successful life.
Adio highlighted the professor’s extraordinary temperament and his generosity in lending both money and intellectual ideas.
He described Prof Oyeweso as a man of exceptional character and one who likes sharing knowledge, gifts and money to ensure people around him are comforted.
“Wishing you long life and prosperity Prof siyan Oyeweso is a man of exceptional character.
“He likes to share ideals , money and gift and he is accommodating .
Others dignitaries from academia in general, friends and acquaintances rejoiced with Prof Oyeweso.
in his address of welcome, the celebrant, Prof Siyan Oyeweso thanked God for the journey so far and appreciated friends, families and well-wishers for celebrating him.
