Famous Historian, Prof Siyan Oyeweso Loses Mother
The mother of the Executive Director, Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding, Abere, Osun State, Professor Siyan Oyeweso, Hajia Yinyinola Oyeweso is dead.
Hajia Oyeweso who died in the early hours of today, Monday August 23rd will be buried today at her residence, Sekona Market Square, Ibadan road Sekona- Ede,
She died at the age of 92 years.
According to a statement signed by the historian , Professor Siyan Oyeweso on behalf of the family and made available to CityMirrorNews, Hajia Oyeweso will be buried, immediately after Asri prayer at 4:00pm.
“THE OYEWESO FAMILY OF OLOJO COMPOUND EDE, In submission to the will of Allah, hereby announce the passage of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Hajia Yinyinola Oyeweso who answered the call of Almighty Allah in the early hours of Monday, August 23,2021@ the age of 92 .
“Burial takes place today at her residence, Sekona Market Square, Ibadan road Sekona- Ede, immediately after Asri prayers at 4.00pm.
“She is survived by many children,grand children and great grandchildren.
