Osun: Ex-Irepodun South LCDA Chairman, Oloyede Mourns Oyebode’s Demise

-Describes Him As Peace-Loving, Grassroots Politician

-Commiserates With Oyetola, Aragbiji, APC, Family

The former Chairman of Irepodun South Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Erin Osun in Osun state, Hon. Kamoli Oloyede Popularly known JayKay, had mourned the death of Apostle Samson Oyebode, former Chairman of Boripe Local Government area of the state.

Oloyede, in a statement he signed and made available to journalists in Osogbo, on Sunday, described the sudden death of Oyebode as sad and heart- breaking.

He described the Iragbiji born politician as a good, peace loving and and committed progressive.

Oyebode died in an accident which occured on Ikirun-Osogbo road on Friday evening.

The Chairman of Tobalase progressive group in his condolence message commiserated with the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji Oba AbdulRosheed Olabomi and the entire people of the town especially the All Progressives Congress (APC) family, on the death of the former ALGON executive.

Oloyede, also condoled the immediate family of the deceased, saying Oyebode’s death came at a time he was going to be needed most.

“This sad news is a rude shock, not just to me, but also to all progressives in Osun

“This is so, considering the role the late Apostle played in the deployment of the state at the grassroot level. We both served as chairmen between July 12, 2021 and September 13, 2022. He was an active member of ALGON while we were serving as the local Government chairmen.

“Apostle Samson Oyebode was a good man, easygoing, lover of development, committed progressive and grassroot politician.

“While alive, apostle Oyebode devoted his life to serving God, humanity and Osun APC at large.

“Apostle Samson Oyebode’s death is a great loss to the entire progressive family in Osun State, especially in Boripe Local Government Area.

“But we all submit to the decision of Allah, our Creator, to call him home late hours of Friday, May 31, 2024.

On behalf of my family, I condole with my Principal, the Ilerioluwa I, Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji Oba AbdulRosheed Olabomi and entire family of late Oyebode and APC family in Boripe and Osun as a whole.

Oloyede prayed Almighty God to repose his soul, and grant his immediate and political family, the fortitude to bear the loss.
