Information Technology Hub Launched In Ado Ekiti

A new Information Technology Hub established by Purple Bee Technologies, was launched at 41, Ojido Street, Ado – Ekiti on the 17th of April, 2023.

Speaking at the event, the CEO of the organization, Dapo Oriola, explained that the hub was created to compliment Ekiti state government efforts in expanding digital access for the citizens of the state.

Purple Bee Technologies will be a leading IT solution center for businesses and individuals in the state and beyond.

Also, the hub will provide trainings for both young and old who are either contemplating career or thinking of changing a career.

The hub will also serve as a launching pad for many talented young people contemplating startup IT companies in the state, explained Oriola.

He went further by emphasizing that technology is not only way of today and tomorrow, but a short cut to development “, “the state must also retain a reasonable percentage of the trained students.”

He further said that, “For ekiti to get full dividend of IT, jobs in the IT field must be created in the state, and that is the reason for the establishment of Purple Bee Technologies, to partake in the development of the state.”


In his address at the event,Special Adviser on Governance, Reforms & Innovation, Mr Seun Fakuade Stated that “Ekiti will like to welcome Purple Bee Technologies to the state, we need their input to the aspiration of our state to be a major IT hub in the country”.

He promised the full cooperation of the government in ensuring the success of the company in the state.

Fakuade also called on the Purple Bee to create home for young talents in the state and also to look into expanding their businesses beyond the present location.

Also present at the event was the DG Ekiti State Investment and Promotion Agency, Mr Ayo Aribidara, The representative of the ministry of Education SA Education, Science and Technology, Mr KOFOROLA Aderiye and many other dignitaries from the state.
