Bola Ige House Not A Tutorial College By Rotimi Makinde
Former member, House of Representatives, Hon Rotimi Makinde has declared to the Osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke that Osun State government house is not a tutorial college.
According to the Ile-Ife born politician in a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday, the governor must demonstrate that he’s capable and competent and stop this idea of trial by error.
According to Makinde, Governor Adeleke in just One year, he has a record of saying this and hurriedly doing this and reversing the same thereafter.
“All these are signals that he was not prepared for where he eventually found himself.Governor Adeleke must not limit his consultation to his Ede country home where it was rumours to be operating from.
“I have seen some responsible men of honour in his cabinet, if he humbled himself to this set of people he could at least manage to get fair mark as credit mark already eluded him.So far and with enough signs, I honestly think Osun people are in for something more terrible to come.
“To him and his party, I want to advise them to begin to ignore all these side talk, get closer to this man ,pilot him before he plunged the state into further monumental embarrassment even as I know he cannot be thinking of second term but a perfect handover notes in the earnest.
“I think by now, Governor Adeleke must be learning very fast on what to do at the right time unfortunately, the Bola Ige is not a tutorial college.
“The governor must use his capacity by demonstrating the potential and the suitability to run the affairs of his office while his competencies should be guided by the constitution and also involved the followings, teamwork, problem-solving, consultation ,integrity and result-orientation.
“Similarly, he must follow the act of governing the control of the affairs of the state among others”, he stated.
