AGF Congratulates Oyetola, Basiru On Appointments

A sociopolitical group, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation, Osun State chapter has congratulated former Governor Gboyega Oyetola on his appointment as Minister of federal republic of Nigeria.

The group in a statement signed by its Coordinator, Sikiru Tijani and Secretary , Yahaya Adeniji and made available to journalists in Osogbo also felicitated Senator Ajibola Basiru on his elevation as the national Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Describing appointment of Oyetola as well deserved, AGF expressed confidence in the ability of the erstwhile Governor to deliver on his mandate as minister going by his outstanding performance as Governor of Osun State.

According to the group, president Bola Ahmed Tinubu needs a cool, calm and collected people like Oyetola to drive his renewed hope agenda to an attainable level.

“We believe so much in the ability of our Minister. Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola is a cool, calm, collected, and knowledgeable leader whose expertise is needed in the pursuit of realization of renewed hope agenda of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“There is no doubt, the erstwhile Governor is a highly cerebral, mature, civil and urbane technocrat politician, who has an unparalleled compassion for development.

“His penchant for fiscal discipline, hardwork, civility,decorum and respect for the rights of others are virtues required for a twenty first century development inclined democracy which Is desired of well meaning Nigerians “.

However, the group commended the party for counting Senator Ajibola Basiru worthy saying his elevation to the secretariship position at the national level is a welcome development.

According to the group, his emergence as APC national Secretary was the reward for his commitment and dedication to the party.

The group prayed God to grant the duo the needed wisdom to diligently deliver on their mandates.
