Osun Monarch, Oluwo Commends Buhari On Fight Against Corruption

The Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has commended President Muhammed Buhari for his fight against corruption and infrastructural growth.

Describing the President, Oba Akanbi said Buhari remains the most honest leader in the history of Nigeria who has no blanket for corruption. “Buhari is not a rogue. He is the most honest leader with no blanket for corruption. I never knew I will grow to see first class train services and reconstruction of Lagos-Ibadan express way. Buhari is not a rogue. I will never forget Buhari” Says Oluwo.

He blamed past system for infrastructural decays, saying no past government has the credit of Buhari in infrastructural growth and development.

He said the economy and security challenges were pile up of previous heritage, urging Nigerians to appreciate the strength of President Muhammed Buhari in corruption fighting and infrastructural growth.

He noted most abandoned road networks linking one geo-political to the other have been reconstructed on quality measure.

He disclosed the dilapidated condition of Lagos-Ibadan express way claimed his father’s life, that coupled with smooth road networks in advanced countries has always endeared him to infrastructural governance.

A statement by Oluwo through his press secretary, Alli Ibraheem, reads “For the first time since independence, I’m a government whose administration is reconstructing Lagos-Ibadan express way and promoting first class train transportation through railway. For the first time in the past 20years, you can drive from Lagos to Ibadan without traffic jam less than an hour. Only an honest man can handle such successfully without being victimized by power blocs benefitting from the rot”

“One of the measurements of a credible leader is honesty. I see the quality in the number citizen of Nigeria, President Muhammed Buhari. He is not a rogue. He is one if not the most incorruptible leader in the history of Nigeria. Buhari, I will never forget you”

“The dilapidated status of Lagos-Ibadan express way killed my father. Bad governance have turned many to an accidental orphans. I was a victim. Seeing a government fixing such road is my joy and I will forever grateful to the supervisor of such administration”

“I want to urge Nigerians to acknowledge the strength of our leaders while discussing their weakness. There might be economic and security challenges pile up by past system but the improvement must be highlighted and appreciated. Criticism is a beauty of democracy. Appraisal of strength will encourage others to be corrupt free and toe the path of honour. It is a general knowledge that Buhari himself is incorruptible”

Oluwo enjoined other leaders to emulate the uprightness and honesty ain Buhari as he urged Nigerians to encourage government with their support.
