— Says He Will Soon Be Brought To Justice
Osun State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has described the alleged threat to life by the Chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Osogbo Branch, Osun State, Comrade Kazeem Oyewale popularly known as Asiri Eniba, as laughable.
PDP said Oyewale is being hunted by the shadows of his numerous misdeeds and atrocities.
Recall that the Asiri Eniba had in a petition he personally signed and submitted to the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Mr Olawale Olokode alleged the PDP State Caretaker Chairman, Mr Adekunle Akindele, Director General, Ademola Adeleke Campaign Organisation, Mr Sunday Bisi, Mr Niyi Owolade, Chairman PDP Legal Committee of public incitements against him and orchestrated attempts to eliminate him.
But, while reacting, PDP in a statement signed by Dr. Akindele Adekunle
Chairman CTC accused Asiri Eniba of thuggery allegedly working for APC just as it faulted his claims that Senator Ademola Adeleke and the PDP are after his life.
“Osun PDP had earlier this week, addressed a press conference through the joint Legal, Security and Media Committees of the Adeleke Campaign Organisation, in which the violent activities and dangerous propensity of ASIRI ENIBA amongst others were highlighted, with the Police providing cover for the notorious killer while he goes on his killing and maiming expedition.
“However, ENIBA, hiding behind a finger of crocodile tears, accused Adeleke and the PDP of threat to his life, a claim the PDP considered as false, reckless, ridiculous and an afterthought.
“The Adeleke Campaign Organisation therefore draws the attention of the good people of Osun State to the photo attached to the incoherent and unintelligible release written for the said ENIBA which displays two police security details (fully armed) attached to the harmful and armed thug with the influence of the Oyetola-led APC administration in Osun State.”
“The PDP reminds ENIBA that the records of his past and present atrocities are in the public glare including the many killings for which the Oyetola-led APC administration has provided cover for him, reiterating that the day of reckoning when he would be brought to justice is around the corner. The long arm of justice may be slow, but it is long enough to catch up with anyone, no matter the level of government bonkers built around him.
“The PDP therefore further called on the appropriate authorities, especially security agencies to be on the look out for ASIRI ENIBA and his cohorts so that their criminal activities which are being perpetrated freely, courtesy of the APC led government, are curbed without further delay.
“The PDP called on heads of security agencies in the State that the security of lives and properties of Osun indigenes and residents must be taken serious before, during and after the Osun election.
“The PDP assured the good people of the state that their votes will definitely count in the forthcoming election and that they should join hands with the PDP to resist any act of intimidation, harassment and inducement by the APC which has only brought upon them hunger and poverty.
“The party expressed confidence that come July 16th, 2022, the PDP shall be voted into power and the fortunes of Osun will be restored and their hope renewed.”
