Ondo: Group Cautions Akeredolu Over Plan To Restore Suspended Ifedore LG Chairman
A non political organization, the Ifedore Concerned Citizens, has condemned the clandestine moves by some political gladiators to restore Engr Alex Oladimeji, the suspended Chairman of Ifedore Local Government in Ondo State, describing the moves as anathema and political suicide in its entirety.
The group questioned the integrity of those championing such mission, however, cautioned Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu not to return Alex Oladimeji.
According to the group, any attempt to return Oladimeji will cause unrest at the council.
The President of the group, Comrade Wumi Alarapon, who named a former State lawmaker and ex-Ifedore Chairman, Hon Idowu Adebusuyi as one of the politicians leading the alleged return of Oladimeji.
Alarapon alleged that when Iduwo is not a popular political figure who could be taken serious for such inglorious mission of restoring the suspended Chairman.
He subsequently destabilized Ondo State House of Assembly and installed a stooge
The group, therefore, urged Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to call Idowu to order and allow peace to reign in Ifedore.
Idowu was alleged to be boasting that he will use his new position as member of Ondo State Assembly Service Commission to cover the atrocities committed by Oladimeji that led to his suspension by Ondo State House of Assembly.
However, the group appreciated the Governor for his projects that have led to rapid and geometrical development of Ifedore Local Government Area.
