Traditional rulers in the Constituency, led by the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba AbdulRaheed Olabomi used the opportunity to pray fervently for the victory of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at the 2023 poll.

The traditional rulers urged the people to rally round Asiwaju Tinubu whose emergence they believe would restore hope for Nigerians.

The National Coordinator, SWAGA, Senator Dayo Adeyeye who congratulated the people of the federal constituency for hosting the flag off campaign for Tinubu in Osun State said the APC candidate is the hope for Nigeria and can be trusted based on his worth and antecedent over the years.

Sen. Adeyeye said “Asiwaju is the hope for a new and better Nigeria. A new nation, a nation in which all of the problem we currently experience will disappear by the grace of Almighty God.

“He’s highly experienced, he has the capacity, ability, intelligence, wherewithal, formation and all that will make things work for Nigeria. We should have hope and not despair and by the grace of God there will be a turn around for the situation of Nigeria when Asiwaju Bola Tinubu becomes the president.”

The State coordinator, Ayo Omidiran said members of SWAGA, after the inauguration of the campaign in the State would begin to go from house to house to propagate the message of Asiwaju Tinubu for president comes 2023.

“Representatives of SWAGA and the party in this federal constituency will go to their various local government areas, wards and units to tell the people that work has really started for Asiwaju. What we are doing is sensitization, to let people know that Asiwaju will become president and we want members to support him from now on, Omidiran said.

Speaking, a national officer, SWAGA, Oyetunde Ojo said the movement was out working to ensure its resolve to secure up to 15million votes for Tinubu.

Ojo expressed optimism that the presidential candidate of APC’s victory would be landslide at the poll in February.

We started three years ago, we said he (Tinubu) was going to emerge the candidate of the party and he actually became the candidate of the party, and I can tell you that come February he’s going to become the president elect of this country. We are very optimistic that it’s going to be a landslide victory.

Also, a coordinator of SWAGA in IBO federal constituency, Adebayo Adeleke popularly known as BANIK opined that Nigeria is not a nation for a beginner to lead, saying Tinubu has the exposure and pedigree to lead the country.

He noted that if Lagos could become a mega city with the template left behind for the state by Asiwaju, Nigeria could attain such a status when it is led by Tinubu.
