Hon Ayeni Embarks On Project Tour In Ijeshaland, Promises More Dividends Of Democracy To His People

Honourable Babatunde Ayeni, the lawmaker representing Atakumosa East and Ilesa East/West of Osun State at the Federal House of Representative, on Thursday embarked on inspection tour of Intervention projects sponsored in the 2021 budget facilitated by him in his constituency.

Ayeni during the inspection tour in Ilesa, Osun State, said the projects were part of fulfilment of some of his campaign promises to improve and enhance the living standard of residents in his constituency.

It would be recalled that the Lawmaker had recently empowered youths in agribusiness with take off grants.

He had also distributed bags of Fertilizer, sprayers and other Agricultural materials to farmers in his constituency.

He also distributed poultry birds, feeds and cash to 60 beneficiaries, organised empowerment programme for hundreds of women artisans, all to eradicate poverty and unemployment in his constituency and by extension, Osun State and Nigeria.

Speaking with newsmen during the inspection, the Grassroot political mobiliser said that, “This is just an inspection tour of the projects requested by members of my constituency which I facilitated in the 2021.

“I am happy when I see that our intervention projects are delivered to each locality. That is one of the ways that our people in the grassroots would enjoy the dividends of democracy in the territory.”

The lawmaker reiterated his commitment to ensuring that the people living in the four local governments made up of his Constituency enjoy dividend of Democracy

Enumerating some of his achievements, Ayeni said he had done series of Empowerment Programmes which according to him did not limited to youths Empowerment , training of youths in Agribusiness , distribution of bags of Fertilizer sprayers and other Agricultural equipments, training and Empowerment of artisans among other.

He however, used the opportunity to appeal to the people of the Constituency to continue to support Governor Gboyega Oyetola and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), saying the APC led governemnt really mean well for the people of the state.

CityMirrorNews reports that some of the projects inspected include a new 6 blocks Classroom in Ife Oluwa Primary School, Osu, Osu Town Hall, Police Command Barracks, Akad Area Ilesa among others

Speaking on behalf of the communities, Mr Idowu Ogungbemi thanked the lawmaker for the kind gesture with a promise that the Lawmaker and his party will continue to enjoy the support of the people in the Constituency
