Breaking: Fire Guts Popular Market In Lagos

Plank market in Ebute Meta, Lagos state has been gutted by fire leaving several shops and properties destroyed.

The fire which started around 10 am on Wednesday have been reported to have destroyed many thatched houses in the area.

The distressed traders were said to have called the attention of the Lagos State Fire Service as others made frantic efforts to put out the fire.
