APC State Chairmen Inauguration: Osun ALGON Chair, Abiodun Felicitates Famodun, Other Party Officers

The Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Osun State Chapter, Hon. Abiodun Samuel Idowu has congratulated the newly sworn in State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Gboyega Famodun.

He lauded the sterling performance and quality leadership Famodun-led party in the state had achieved over the years saying his re-election would in no doubt further strengthen the party.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement personally signed and issued by the Chairman to celebrate the new state officers of the ruling party in the State.

According to the council boss, the emergence of Famodun and other state executive officers of the ruling party was a clear manifestation of collective quest to building a virile and healthy party structure.

Idowu who extolled the modest achievements and visible electoral successes recorded by the Famodun led party over the years, said a viable and formidable team has been enthroned.

He expressed confidence in his ability to take the party to enviable heights ever known in history.

“Your emergence is a round peg in a round hole at this critical time not because of anything but because of your political sagacity, social dexterity and understanding of political and democratic tenets of our dear State.

“It is on record that your first tenure was mission-driven and purposeful-oriented hence the huge success that our party made even in the face of tribulations and adversities.

“Indeed, you have demonstrated your capacity to lead our party to the path of sustainable growth and development as seen in the successes recorded over the years. We are pleased to identify with you, have you as our leader and mentor because we have seen in you and in all you do, high sense of integrity, honesty, discipline and morality.

“It is my hope that your re-election will not only help to consolidate on the good works you and your team had recorded but also help to redefine our party and take us to the path of peaceful coexistence, unity and consistent victories.

“As we count on your team to continue to lead our party to greatness, I pray God to grant you more enablement and fortification to accomplish your heart desires as we are going into election period.
