by some ladies/women who fell to the hands of scammers using his name to defraud unsuspected members of the public.
The monarch in a letter of disclaimer signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ali Ibrahim and made available to CityMirrorNews, alerted the public that he is not looking for wife in public domain.
“Following series of reports by some people especially ladies/women who fell to the hands of scammers using Oluwo’s name, the palace of the Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, writes to alert and inform the public that, the king is not looking for wife in public domain.
“We are aware some detractors created some social media accounts in Oluwo’s name to perpetrate fraud and discredit the palace’s image.
“Oluwo has no personal facebook page except his official pages.
“We learnt the victims have interest in Oluwo and fell on scammers in the name of rituals to become the queen.
“The scammers went on to open accounts in Oluwo’s name to continously perpetrate such questionable acts.
“The security operatives have been briefed for necessary action.
Oba Akanbi warned that anyone who plays into the hands of these scammers is on his or her own.
“There are three recognized official palace pages as attached below. And there is neither exchange of inbox messages nor video calls on those pages. A paramount Ruler of his calibre will not engage in video call with anyone.
