Princes Discrediting Oluwo Are A Few Jobless Ones- Adegoke

Published

on

Most princes will visit the palace, not to identify with the king but to check if the stool occupant has died. No matter the level of the contribution or glory a king has brought to his town, princes living in the mirage of mounting the throne will orchestrate many plans to dethrone the king.

In an attempt to actualize this mission, the princes will devise every possible means to entrench themselves and divest the king’s authority. Noble princes will protect the stool and defend their fathers’ heritage. We have many of them in Iwo while the black sheep have resorted to social media war.

When Oluwo came in throne. He made two vital decisions – Not to worship deity and not to sell people’s land.

I want to say this for the attention of the reasonable readers and viewers. Those princes ranting on the social media are jobless few who are desperate to be using Oluwo’s name to grab and sell people’s land. They have sought the assent of Kabiesi several times to give them access for free operation in the town. They blackmailed Oluwo because he refused to give them access to land grabbing.

Similarly, Oluwo has presented himself as an unrepentant promoter of Olodumare. The princes moved against this mission, insisting Oluwo has to worship deity. They are ignorant and can’t differentiate between Prince Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi and Oluwo of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi. History revealed they dictated for the past Oluwos and expected similar things from the present Oluwo. The era has gone and gone forever. Iwo has never had it so good under the present Oluwo of Iwoland.

We are not unaware of their sinister move. No bonafide son will allow himself to be used against his father. And reasonable sons and daughters of Iwoland will not watch while blatant lies are been told against our revered rallying point.

The same set of princes blackmailing Oluwo have done such in the past. When they realized they were wrong, they came to beg. Repeating same thing twice is no more a mistake, it’s a deliberate action. Oluwo may not be perfect. Even if a child wants to correct his father, there is a morally acceptable means and standard adopted by cultured Yorubas.
Oluwo has brought deserving honour to Iwo Traditional Stool. We can’t afford to stay back because of the retrogressive noises. The end will justify the means.

At this juncture, I will admonish readers and viewers not to be gullible. Oluwo is committed to a progressive monarchy devoid of the traditional lording. Any prince not satisfied with his people’s welfare governance should wait for his turn. The truth has come to stay. Truth may be challenged but can’t be changed. Princes willing to be using Oluwo’s stool to oppress should go and find work to do. Being a prince should not be a means of livelihood. It’s well know fact that, all princes can’t love you because they all have candidate who contested against the occupant. Challenging Oluwo is synonymous with questioning God who enthroned him.

I call on the princes to accept the ascension of Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi. He is the will of God. He was enthroned for an holistic reason and no one can block the path of truth. Don’t allow yourself to be used against yourself. True blood will leave to regret such.
