Osun @30: Olatunji Charges Residents To Keep Hope Alive, Lauds Oyetola’s Unprecedented Achievements

The Chief Whip of the State of Osun House of Assembly, Mr Tunde Olatunji says the creation of the State 30 years ago has been justified to be a worthwhile enterprise.

In a message to congratulate the government and the people of the state, Mr Olatunji observed that there were every indications that the state had been transformed from what it was three decades ago to a modern state.

He said aggressive investment in infrastructure in the state in the last 11 years in particular had changed the economic landscape of the state.

” I remember as a banker of many years in this state and very active stakeholder in the Business Development sector, there were very few number of Small Medium Enterprises in the state a decade ago, but that trend has changed within that short period”.

The Legislator also noted that in the area of road infrastructure, education and health, Osun had recorded tremendous development when compared with other states that were created around same time with it.

The Assembly Chief Whip lauded the sacrifice of the state’s founding fathers,who against all odds pursued their convictions, mobilized resources to ensure that the state creation dream became a reality.

Hon Olatunji who represents Ife North State Constituency also commended all the distinguished personalities who had provided leadership for the state as Governor from 1991 till date for their indelible impression on the sound of time.

He lauded Governor Gboyega Oyetola for his policy drive to build a solid economy for the state focusing on the Agriculture, Tourism and Mining sectors.

The Legislator who felicitated with the people of the state, charged them to keep hope alive and support the present administration in its strides to build a formidable economy.
