Osun First Lady Seeks More Support To End Worm Infection

… Thumbs Up Her Husbands’ Health Programmes

The present administration in the State of Osun under the leadership of governor Adegboyega Oyetola is not relenting in its resolve to enhance and promote good Standard of living of the people of the state.

The wife of the governor of the state, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola stated this while flagging-off the year 2021 Deworming exercise at Anthony Udofia primary school, Osogbo.

Mrs Oyetola recalled with satisfaction how in the last two years various health assessing bodies, nationally and Internationally have continued to give Osun excellent ratings on its programmes and activities in the health and other sectors.

The First lady recalled that, notwithstanding the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 dealt a devastating below to many sectors, Osun has not been found wanting in the arduous task of the implementation of its many life promoting and enhancing Programmes as effectively designed by the Oyetola led state government of Osun.

Mrs Oyetola while emphasising the importance of health sector charged Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government in the state to ensure the sustenance of the good works being embarked upon by the Gboyega Oyetola led administration.

Also speaking during the programme, the state deputy Governor , Mr Benedict Alabi described the occasion as another remarkable feat in the history of the state particularly for children.

Just like the wife of the governor had earlier done, Mr Alabi commended the Oyetola led administration for its commitment at all times to give the welfare of children and people of the state of Osun in general the desired priority.

He equally lauded the deworming exercise being usually embark upon by the present administration,a development which he gladly noted put Osun ahead of other states in Nigeria.

Highlights of the programme was the official flagging off of the 2021 Deworming exercise at Anthony Udofia primary, Osogbo by the wife of the Governor State of Osun Mrs Kafayat Oyetola supported by the Deputy Governor Mr Benedict Alabi, Commissioner for Health Dr Rafiu Isamotu and other top government functionaries in the State.
